So this last Saturday I attempted to get some very unique gifts for Jenn at Legoland. I left the house at 8am on Saturday morning. It took me a little over an hour to get there and then I had to wait until 10am when the park opened. I went to guest services to get my 1 hour shopping pass and then ran into the back of the park to the Brick Club. The website said you could build anything with all the Lego pieces ever made there. Surprise, they only had about 10 different blocks in 10 different colors. Not every Lego ever made. I was sad and had to buy a $30 set to get my parking fee refunded. (I will later return the set to get my $30 back). So I was defeated, my brilliant and exciting surprise for Jenn has been set back a few steps. I hurried home to see if I could download the Lego online builder and perhaps they had the parts I wanted. No luck…. guess what… same pieces as Legoland. I was however able to find a website that sells the pieces I want, but they will be coming from all over the globe and will cost a bit I feel. I am not giving up, going to keep searching.
